💡 キングズ・インディアン・アタックは、白が黒のキングズ・インディアン・ディフェンスと同じ駒の並べ方を、白番で使うシステムだよ。黒が何を指してきても、e4・d3・Nd2・Nf3・g3・Bg2・O-Oというほぼ同じ形で戦えるので、覚える定跡が少なくて済むんだ。フレンチ・ディフェンスに対して使われることがいちばん多く、フィッシャーもこの形で多くの名局を残したよ。その代わり、白は中央を大きく取らない控えめな作戦なので、序盤から有利を取ることは難しいとも言われているんだ。

💡 The King's Indian Attack is a system in which White uses the same piece setup as Black's King's Indian Defense, but with the white pieces. Whatever Black plays, White can fight with almost the same setup — e4, d3, Nd2, Nf3, g3, Bg2 and O-O — so there's less theory to memorize. It's most often used against the French Defense, and Fischer won many memorable games with it. On the other hand, since White doesn't grab a big center, it's said to be hard to gain an early advantage with it.
