This application is completely free to use. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions required.
Chess moves, sequences, and openings are considered universal public knowledge and are not subject to exclusive copyright by any individual or organization. The opening names (e.g., Ruy Lopez, Sicilian Defense) and move data used in this application are based on publicly available data.
The original source code, design assets, and text content of this application belong to the creator. Unauthorized reproduction, duplication, or secondary distribution is strictly prohibited.
This application uses the open-source library "chess.js" (MIT License) for chess rule validation and logic.
The chess piece designs are from the "Kaneo" piece set created by Kadagaden (github.com/Kadagaden/chess-pieces). Licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
The checkmate puzzles used in the "Puzzle Streak" feature are provided by the Lichess.org puzzle database, released under Creative Commons CC0 (public domain).
